What: Eugene media members are invited to the 2023 Good Neighbor Welcome. UO President Karl Scholz and Eugene Mayor Lucy Vinis will join UO student and community leaders in personally welcoming students back to school and the larger community. Small groups with a mix of university, student and community representatives will fan out in the West University, South University and Fairmount neighborhoods, knocking on doors and providing information about renter rights and responsibilities, and engaging in conversations about what it means to be a good neighbor and member of the community. Fall term begins September 26.
When: Wednesday, Sept. 20 at 3:30 p.m.
Where: Central Presbyterian Church (555 E. 15th Ave, Eugene)
