Heidi Huber-Stearns’ work focuses on issues of environmental governance and natural resource policy. Research areas include wildland fire and prescribed fire policy and management, organizational roles in accomplishing cross-boundary wildfire risk reduction, and more recently smoke and public health communication and response.
