The Board of Trustees of the University of Oregon and its committees will hold meetings as noticed below. Meetings will be held in the Giustina Ballroom in the Ford Alumni Center (1720 E. 13th Ave.) on the University of Oregon’s Eugene campus.
FINANCE AND FACILITIES COMMITTEE: Monday, Dec. 4, 2023, at 9 a.m.
Subjects of the meeting will include quarterly finance and treasury reports; the annual treasury report; overview of audited financial statements; the annual report from the university’s external auditor; the annual capital and sustainability report; and the annual report from the UO Foundation.
EXECUTIVE, AUDIT, AND GOVERNANCE COMMITTEE: Monday, Dec. 4, 2023, at 11:15 a.m.
Subjects of the meeting will include review of proposed governance document changes and additions and an update on the Office of Internal Audit.
ACADEMIC AND STUDENT AFFAIRS COMMITTEE: Monday, Dec. 4, 2023, at 1 p.m.
Subjects of the meeting will include a discussion with university Rhodes scholar finalists, a report from the provost; an overview of the UO College of Education; a report on artificial intelligence and teaching; an overview of student mental health initiatives; a review of the program approval process; and the review of a new program in educational leadership.
FULL BOARD OF TRUSTEES: Tuesday, Dec. 5, 2023, at 9 a.m.
Subjects of the meeting will include an executive session regarding collective bargaining; reports and standing reports; consideration of seconded motions from December 4 committee meetings; the annual report on student enrollment and financial aid; an update on the university’s Home Flight program; an overview of the annual tuition and mandatory fees setting process; and an executive session on safety.
