The University of Oregon is partnering with Valley of the Sun United Way to address child literacy in the Phoenix-Tempe community. UO students and senior leaders, including President Karl Scholz, will stock book bags for the Book in a Bag project which will provide kids in Title 1 schools with a book inside of a bag decorated by volunteers. 

“The University of Oregon is excited to host another bowl game service project and invite our bowl game opponents to join us as we give back to our host city,” said Kris Winter, vice president for Student Life. 

When: Sunday, Dec. 31, from 1-3 p.m. MST
