Daniel Pimentel is an academic expert in spatial computing and extended-reality (XR) media platforms: virtual reality (VR), augmented reality (AR) and mixed reality (MR). His research examines how XR experiences can encourage prosocial and pro-environmental outcomes across various contexts like education, climate action, and biodiversity conservation. Danny is also a Fellow at Yale’s Program on Climate Change Communication. As an XR developer, his work has been supported by organizations like Meta, Snapchat, and National Geographic, among others.
