Gabriela Martinez is an academic expert in international communications, the political economy of communications, human rights and social movements. At the University of Oregon, she is a professor of journalism and the Journalism Masters area director. An international award-winning documentary filmmaker, Gabriela has produced, directed or edited more than a dozen ethnographic and social documentaries.
