An award-winning educator and researcher, Sarah E. Nutter has taught courses in accounting and taxation and has developed executive education courses for Oracle Corporation, General Dynamics, Time Warner, Sallie Mae, and Lee Technologies. Nutter’s research focuses primarily on the impact of taxes and tax structures on individuals and businesses. She has published more than 30 articles that have appeared in the Journal of Accounting and Economics, The Accounting Review, Journal of the American Taxation Association, and others. In 2014, she was recognized as one of the most influential women in the Washington D.C. region by the Washington Business Journal for her extensive engagement with the business community and strategic leadership. She was previously dean at George Mason University and currently serves on the Initial Accreditation Committee for AACSB (Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business), the leading business school accreditation organization.
