Tim Williams is an academic expert in United States history with a focus on nineteenth-century the American South. Tim’s research looks at the history of education in the US, and antebellum southern history, including gender, slavery, and the Civil War. He is also interested in various education models, the debates around the use of the confederate flag, and popular culture dealing with the antebellum and Civil War era US.
